How to use Batch Image OCR

Batch OCR is for a bounded set of scanned pages, not an unlimited queue. Processing is sequential and closing the page discards undownloaded results.

  1. Choose a small group of images and inspect their order.
  2. Set the main language and remove blurry or irrelevant pages.
  3. Start and review per-file progress and errors.
  4. Sample every page and download combined text with filename separators.

What this tool helps with

  • Organize several scanned pages at once
  • Independent result and error per image
  • Processing runs in this browser tab; the file is not uploaded to FreeTool to perform the task.

Compatibility and limitations

  • Not a background job; refresh or close interrupts it
  • Browser memory and CPU make hundreds of pages unsuitable
  • Complex layout and table structure are not reconstructed
