Private by design
Conversion runs through WebAssembly inside this browser tab. The document content and file name are not sent to FreeTool servers. Anonymous usage events contain only the tool page and action type.
What is preserved
The converter focuses on readable structure such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and tables. Complex visual layouts, animations, macros, and exact styling are not part of Markdown and may be simplified.
Current limitation
Scanned or image-only PDFs need OCR first and are not supported in this version.
