How to use Mirror Smash: input to export

Follow the complete workflow, export checks, and privacy guidance for Mirror Smash.

When this tool is useful

Place a photo in a realistic mirror, strike it repeatedly, and locally record spreading cracks and falling shards. Use it for quick creation, classroom activities, family interaction, or personal tracking. Review the content for private information before exporting.

Steps

  1. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP photo and choose a realistic frame.
  2. Tap an exact point on the mirror or hold the hammer for continuous strikes.
  3. Keep striking as cracks spread and loosened shards fall while remaining inside the frame, until the mirror is fully shattered.
  4. Stop striking to finish the recording, then replay, download the video, or export a shattered PNG.

Before export

  • Check that text is not clipped on both mobile and desktop.

  • For printing, download a sample and check orientation, margins, and color.
  • Keep a local project file when the tool offers one.
