Daily challenge versus a random board
The daily challenge derives a fixed board from the date, difficulty, and game mode. People using the same settings on the same day receive the same mine positions, making completion times comparable. A random board creates a fresh layout whenever you reset it.
Choose a mode before starting
- Classic ends the round when a mine is popped and is best for a timed challenge.
- Relax turns a mine into a small local chain pop and lets the round continue.
- Pure Pop removes every mine and keeps only the tactile bubble, sound, vibration, and cascade experience.
Three useful ways to reason about mines
- A number counts mines in the eight neighboring bubbles, not across the entire row or board.
- When the hidden neighbors equal the remaining mine count, long-press each one to flag it.
- When a number already has enough flags around it, its other hidden neighbors are usually safe to pop.
The first bubble and its neighbors are always safe. Empty bubbles automatically open a connected safe area, and every bubble in that cascade counts toward the round's pop and combo totals.
Controls on mobile and desktop
Tap to pop and long-press for about half a second to flag on mobile. On desktop, left-click to pop and right-click to flag. Repeat the flag action to remove a mistaken marker. When the sheet is complete, create a result card showing time, total pops, best combo, and mine hits.
Privacy and records
Board generation, sound, result cards, and best times are handled in this browser. The daily challenge does not upload your identity or move history. Best records only remain on this device and cannot be restored after browser data is cleared.
