Anleitung Large Image Viewer
A local single image must be decoded by the browser and can use far more memory than its compressed size. It is not a DZI/IIIF tile service.
- Choose one high-resolution image.
- Wait for decoding and inspect width, height, format, and estimated memory.
- Zoom, pan, and use the navigator to locate details.
- Stop after a memory warning and use a tiled source instead.
Wobei es hilft
- Inspect detail without an image editor
- Navigator for quick orientation
- Processing runs in this browser tab; the file is not uploaded to FreeTool to perform the task.
Kompatibilität und Einschränkungen
- Small compressed size does not mean small decoded memory
- Images beyond canvas, texture, or memory limits cannot open
- No tile generation, professional color management, or medical display
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Why does a 100 MB image use much more memory?

Can every TIFF open?
Only compression and bit-depth combinations supported by the current decoder; use specialist tools for multipage/scientific TIFF.
Is the image uploaded?
